So does that mean you don't have the big gap at your waste in the back? Cuz that's something I seem to always get unless I wear a belt, and then it just looks scrunched.
well, the hips still go in before you get to the waist. usually pants that fit me in the hips have a big gap at my waist (in the back, like mel said) and are too big in the thighs, making me feel like i am wearing Hammer-pants.

I'm confused. What does the relationship between waist and hip matter if they are, as they look to be, low-waisted?

Makes sense. Although I've about given up on wearing pants, period, since I can never find any that look good.
