They were just as dorky 20 years ago.

I was just talking with my advisor, remisincing about college. We both went to the same college, you see, albeit probably 20 years apart. He was telling me a bunch of college stories that were pretty amusing. Two of them perfectly illustrate the dichotomy that is my alma mater (a dorky engineering school):

1. The Sigma Nu house used to hold Saturday night chess tournaments. Woo!
2. Panhel (actually, it probably wasn't panhel back then -there weren't really any NPC sororities on campus, were there?) and IFC sponsored a Century Club FUNDRAISER. You'd get sponsored per beer you drank, but you only had an hour.

I know, the drinking age was 18 back then. What an exciting time to be a college student!

So which one is the dorky one? ;)

Man, have you ever tried the Century Club? I believe you Yankees would call it "wicked hard"! One of my roommates in college actually peed himself at about minute 47. It was worth throwing that couch out to see the look on his face when he realized what he was about to do. Ha ha!

I havent, but I've heard it is hard!! He said they had trash cans around that people could puke in and that it was absolutely revolting. HAHA.

You've got to be pretty toasty to not have an inkling that you're going to pee. But, ha!

power hour was the best fun!! I never urinated on myself and I'm but a wee little girl. Also, I think I love Saturday night chess...but what about Sheepshead?
